What is the difference between the Air Stik Window Blowoff Kit for Open Top Machines and the Air Stik Window Blowoff Kit for Closed Top Machines?
The open top and closed top models differ only in the hardware used to attach the air line to the window blowoff. The open top model has a magnetic base with a shutoff valve that is mounted outside the machine. The air line passes over the top of the machine’s housing and down to the Window Blowoff. This eliminates the need to drill a hole in the machine’s sheet metal housing. The closed top models come with a bulkhead fitting that allows the air line to pass through the sheet metal. See the Installation and Maintenance Guides for these products in the Industrial Housekeeping section of our web site. Please contact an Application Engineer if you need help with your particular application.
