Atomizing Spray Nozzles
All stainless steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance!

What Are Atomizing Nozzles?

EXAIR’s atomizing spray nozzles are internal mix nozzles that atomize fluids (most commonly water) in a range of spray patterns for a variety of uses. These Plant Engineering 2011 Product of the Year Finalists combine liquid and compressed air to create a mist of atomized liquid that can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of your application. All stainless steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance.

Why Atomizing Nozzles?

With EXAIR’s atomizing nozzles, you can coat, cool, treat and paint a variety of products using compressed air and liquids with a viscosity of up to 300 centipoise. Used with water, atomizing nozzles are an efficient way to evenly cool hot items in your automated process. These nozzles are also an excellent choice for dust mitigation. The maximum operating temperature for the atomizing nozzles is 400°F (204°C).

EXAIR’s atomizing nozzles are a great way to make efficient use of both time and expensive coatings in your industrial process. Atomizing nozzles use less water than conventional liquid nozzles by atomizing the liquid into droplets to more effectively apply coatings. They also have greater adjustability, allowing you to fine tune your process.

Because of their modular design, you can easily convert an atomizing nozzle from a minute flow of less than a gallon per hour to a flood of 60 gallons per hour. This is easily accomplished by changing out the liquid and air caps.

EXAIR’s spray nozzles are offered in a variety of sizes and shapes to meet your needs. All models are adjustable. All models are stainless steel. All are compact, with no moving parts and come standard with our 5 year Built To Last Warranty.
