How It Works

How the ATEX EasySwitch Wet-Dry Vac Works

The ATEX EasySwitch vacuum utilizes a filter hatch, secured by one simple latch, for easy installation and replacement of filters. It does not require any additional springs, clips or closures. A rubber handle (1) is connected to the filter hatch (2). Unlatching the handle from the drum lid will allow the hatch to be raised. When the hatch is raised, the filter (3) can be installed or uninstalled easily. The filter simply lifts out of the filter hatch hole, and be can reinstalled by placing the filter on top of edge gasket (4) on the filter hatch hole. For operation, close the latch and secure the rubber handle (1). When the filter is installed, the vacuum will work with dry media; when it is uninstalled, it will work with liquids. When the drum is filled with liquid the vacuum is automatically turned off by a float shutoff.
