Air Knife Provides Barrier
Company manufactures pharmaceuticals. Customer uses an ink jet printer to place marking upon a tablet. The powder-based tablet ejects powder every time the jet blows ink on to it. This ejected powder gets onto the print head and causes poor quality marking in a short period of time. They had to shut down the line and clean the print head. They have chosen an EXAIR Model 2209SS 9" (229mm) Stainless Steel Standard Air Knife Kit to blow air between the tablet and print head so the powder is redirected away from the print head.
