A lumber processing company chars the surface of wood planks and wanted to spray a fine mist sufficient to stop them from smoking after the charring operation but not enough to leave any standing water on the surface. They opted for a Model SR1010SS Siphon Fed Atomizing Spray Nozzle, Round Pattern, to give them complete coverage of the 6" wide planks, and a flow rate that could adjusted from 0.2 to 0.8 gallons per hour by the compressed air supply pressure and the relative height of the gravity or siphon feed.
