Blowing Charged Particles from Glass Prior to Tempering

A large coated glass manufacturer makes glass sheets and cools them. After the glass is cooled it gets put through a tempering oven. If there is any debris that has settled on the glass, it will melt into the glass surface and create an unwanted defect. The surface of the glass must be very clean before it enters the oven. They have installed a special Model 112072 72" (1829mm) Super Ion Air Knife to eliminate a static charge and blow the debris from the glass surface.
