Blowing off Shavings

This customer is rolling and welding seamless tubing from flat stock coming off a continuous roll. When 12’ is completed, it is cut off. Over time, shavings build up in the vice and the process has to be shut down to clear them out. The powerful air stream from the EXAIR Model 1100 Super Air Nozzle cleared the shavings from the cut off fixture as they were being generated thus eliminating shut down. As a secondary benefit the tubes were cleared of shavings and eliminated a secondary cleaning operation.
