Cabinet Cooler Speeds Cure Time of Varnish

A manufacturer of electric solenoid valves has developed a varnish coating and curing process for the copper coils which has increased the product volume throughput. The process improvement created a bottle neck in production due to the long cooling time of the heat cured copper coils and they were looking for a solution to cool them down from 150°C. They created a small enclosure for the valves to sit in and they purchased an EXAIR Model 4030 Cabinet Cooler to provide cold air flow through the enclosure for one minute. This has eliminated the bottleneck and cooled the coils down enough for the parts to continue moving through production.
