Clean Parts Before Assembly
At the assembly station for night vision scopes and cameras, a small plastic part is holding onto dust and lint due to a static charge. The dust and lint show up in the vision field of the night vision product if not removed. They have installed an EXAIR Model 8294-9362 Stay Set Ion Air Jet at the assembly station where an operator can place the plastic part under the ionized air stream to remove the static charge and the dust and lint prior to assembly.
