Cleaning Up Mixed Machining Chips

Customer manufactures custom signage for commercial and retail use. Their signs are made of both plastic and aluminum, among other materials. At the end of each work day, they wanted a quick and easy way to collect all loose machining chips for cleanup and disposal. Mixing of the various chips and shavings materials was not a problem. A Model 6293 Deluxe Chip Vac System was the perfect solution. It easily connects to a central compressed air supply, mounts to a standard 55-gallon open top drum, and comes with a drum dolly for portability as well as all sorts of cleanup tools to access both large and small areas of the machines to collect the chips.
