Cold Gun Prevents Out of Tolerance Parts

Customer is producing shot gun shells with plastic housings. A ½" section of the end of the plastic tube is skived internally to make a thinner wall of the tube which is folded inward to close the top of the shot gun shell after it is loaded. The skiving process is heating up the plastic tube and they are having difficulties maintaining tolerances. They have purchased a Model 5330 High Power Cold Gun with Dual Hose Outlet to blow cold air onto the tube to keep it from heating up and losing tolerance during the skiving process.
