Cooling Automotive Gas Samples
An automotive emissions company tests exhaust samples for an emissions test on diesel engines. They used a small Model 3402 Vortex Tube to cool down the gas sample before sending it through a filter to be tested. This resulted in eliminating an expensive and bulky AC system and helped make the system more portable.
