Drying Cable Before ID Labeling

This customer manufactures various types of wire and cable, including coaxial cable, traffic signal cable, and other industrial uses. The diameters range from 0.050" to 1". They send the cable through a water bath to clean it before being sent to the printers for identification labeling. However, they are currently using an air wipe from another manufacturer, with limited success. Replacing their current units with a Model 2400 1/2" (13mm) Super Air Wipe and a Model 2402 2" (51mm) Super Air Wipe will be able to better handle the range of cable diameters, as well as providing a uniform 360-degree converging airflow pattern to effectively dry the cable, and reducing their air consumption and noise levels. This led to fewer rejected cable batches due to flawed printing of the identification information.
