Eliminate Static to Remove Sawdust

A kitchen cabinet manufacturer uses sandpaper belts to smooth the surfaces of the panels.  The 42" wide sandpaper belt runs on steel rollers, so it generates static on the sandpaper. When the sandpaper comes into contact with the panels, it transfers the static charge, causing sawdust to stick to the cabinets. Also, as sawdust that remains on the panels is repeatedly re-sanded, this shortens the lifespan of the sandpaper, causing more frequent change-outs and purchases of new sandpaper. A Model 112042 42" (1067mm) Super Ion Air Knife positioned just before the sandpaper comes in contact with the wood panels, will remove any static charge built up on the sandpaper, so the charge will not transfer to the panels and cause sawdust to stick to them.
