Eliminating Static on Aluminum Web

This customer manufactures converting equipment for many industries, including plastics and aluminum. One particular machine unwinds a 48" wide aluminum web off a master roll, sends it through an acid bath, heat system to dry the web, then an electrostatic oiler, before rewinding the material. During both the unwinding and winding processes, a significant amount of static is generated, causing jam-ups in the machine and subsequent process downtime to fix the jams. 1pc of Model 112048 48" (1219mm) Super Ion Air Knife at each roller will eliminate the static and allow the machine to run continouously without error.
