Intelligent Compressed Air Products solve quality problems for auto parts manufacturer
A contractor at an automotive plant was tasked with upgrading the cleaning system on a conveyor that carried transmission parts. The irregular shape of the part, and grooves running in several different directions meant that a simple pass under the originally specified Model 2012SS 12" 303SS Standard Air Knife didn't completely clean the part. In conjunction with the Air Knife, they installed two Model 1100SS 316SS Super Air Nozzles, aimed in the distinct directions of the grooves, to removal off of the metal shavings and dust in one pass.
