Ion Cannon Improves Lens Grinding Process
Customer manufactures lenses for eye glasses. The customer has an automatic lens grinding machine that produces a white dust when lenses are ground to prescription. This dust can remain on the lens and cause unwanted scratches if not treated. Model 8192 Ion Air Cannon is used to blow onto the grinding process to continuously remove the grinding dust from the lenses. Keeping the dust off the lenses enabled the customer to reduce their scrapped product to zero for this process.
