Keeping the rails clean

A customer engaged in the construction and sale of industrial CNC routers and mills experienced an accumulation of chips on the linear rails that facilitate table fixture movement. This buildup led to more frequent bearing failures. To address this issue, they employed a Model 110003 3" Super Air Knife, which was mounted on the work fixture to effectively blow the chips off the rail during operation. As a result, the chips fell to the base of the machine, where they could be removed by the chip conveyor.
