Line Vac Cleans House
Company manufactures cameras and camera accessories. Customer has a converting line which slits a thin web of aluminum. The edge scrap of the aluminum is sent through a chopper and exits the chopper at high velocity onto a flat belt conveyor which delivers it to a recycling bin. The chopped scrap is not contained on the belt conveyor and creates a housekeeping issue by getting scrap all over the area and creates waste. Customer has chosen an EXAIR Model 6066 3" (76mm) Stainless Steel Line Vac to place at the chopper discharge to capture the scrap and carry it to the recycle bin. This eliminates the mess and captures 100% of the recyclable material.
