Line Vac Sucks Gases Out of Sand Casting Mold
Customer manufactures cast aluminum wheel hubs. Customer pulls a vacuum on a sand core in their process to keep the off gases from creating voids in the aluminum casting. Customer currently uses a ‘venturi’ to do the vacuum but it keeps getting clogged from the residue of the off gasing process. The customer is able to pull enough vacuum with the Model 141075 3/4 NPT Threaded Stainless Steel Line Vac to take care of the original application problem and the residue creates no problem for the Line Vac due to the large throat diameter.
