Maintaining Consistent Color On Braided Fishing Line

A fishing line manufacturer is applying a coating to a braided line. As the line exits the dip tank it goes through a set of squeeze rollers. The line wears a groove in the rollers, making it difficult to keep consistent tension, resulting in a variation of color. Replacing the rollers with a pair of Model 110012 12" (305mm) Super Air Knives allowed the customer to blow the coating off with acceptable consistency. By experimenting with the pressure, they were able to determine what pressure was needed for various diameter filaments and color variations.
