Removing Dry Food Dust off Conveyor Belt
Company manufactures food additives to increase nutrition level of animal feed products. Bags of ingredients are carried up an incline belt. If the belt has dust from previous bags/material on it, the new bags cannot grip as easily and tend to slide back down the incline. Static is the likely cause of the dust sticking. A Model 112018 18" (457mm) Super Ion Air Knife with Model 7960 Power Supply will cover the width of the belt and allow an ionized curtain of air to neutralize the static charge that is causing the food dust to stick, and also blow it off of the conveyor to clean the surface before another bag is placed on it.
