Super Air Nozzle Keeps Steel Sheets From Sticking Together
Customer cuts and forms structural components for the automotive industry from sheet steel. The sheets come in large stacks, and they had trouble picking the top sheet up without the next one down sticking to it. They installed a Model 1122-.020 2" Flat Super Air Nozzle with 0.020" thick shim to blow at the corner of the stack, allowing the top sheet only to be picked up consistently. This eliminated the need for an operator to continually tend to the stack to ensure sheets were picked and placed properly.
