Super Ion Air Knife Applies Labels Perfectly To Candle Jars Every Time

This customer makes aromatic candles, housed in decorative glass jars. They apply adhesive labels to these jars, and had a problem with the labels wrinkling during application, especially during the winter months, due to static charge. They installed a Model 112103 3" (76mm) Super Ion Air Knife System to blow ionized air onto the flag of the label after it was peeled from the backing strip. This both eliminated the static, and forced the label flat against the outside wall of the conveyor, resulting in a perfectly applied label every time.
