Vacuum Pick and Place

Customer makes computer equipment. In their R and D facility they are using a vacuum wand to pick up a small rubber part and insert it into a pocket within a housing. The problem they are having is the rubber material is very sticky and does not want to release from the vacuum tip. They were contemplating a complicated circuit of 3 way valves. EXAIR suggested using the Model 6092 Vac-u-Gun. This enabled them to vacuum pick up the part. Then to release the part, they simply held their hand over the exhaust end of the Vac-u-Gun causing it to back flow and blow the part free. This was a simple lower cost solution that required no installation effort.
