Air Barrier Keeps Harmful Fumes Contained
A customer is melting scrap aluminum which contains other impurities. These impurities are being burned off and they are looking for a way to keep harmful gases from escaping the door where scrap is fed in. The opening is 30" (762mm) x 36" (914mm) and it is outfitted with a Model 110030SS 30" (762mm) Stainless Steel Super Air Knife. This Super Air Knife separates atmosphere from the caustic environment inside the melting furnace, keeping the harmful fumes away.
