Atomizing Spray Nozzle Suppresses Dust In Food Plant

Customer is filling powdered spices into a slurry. As the spices were applied, dust would rise and carry over throughout the facility. Using a Model AF1020SS Internal Mix Atomizing Spray Nozzle, they applied a mist over the spices as they exited the fill tube, wetting them and making them heavier than air, allowing it to fall on the product. This eliminated the dust carry-over, which was a critical housekeeping problem.
