Bearing Cooling
Company mines gold. They are having problems with a 5" bearing overheating. This causes the thermal overload sensors to shut down the machine. They are currently using ¾" open pipe for cooling which consumed exorbitant amounts of compressed air. Utilizing the Model 5315 Cold Gun, they were able to blow refrigerated air onto the bearing, keeping it well below their thermal requirements and with ½ of the compressed air.
