Blowing Off a Pet Food Conveyor Belt
This customer makes exotic pet foods. The food is run on a floor level conveyor and after each ingredient is sequentially added, it runs up to a mixer and back down. When the belt is returning, it carries the food with it. They want to eliminate the build up of food under the conveyor, which is causing issues with contamination and operation of the conveyor. We recommended a Super Air Knife on the bottom of the conveyor at the discharge point. This will wipe all contaminants off the conveyor surface before it reaches the floor and the operator stations.
