Blowing off Roll Knurled Parts
Customer forges and machines drive shafts. On this particular operation the roll knurl a spine on the end of the shaft. The problem they were having is drag out of oil and the oil interfering with the vision inspection process. Using two Model 1100 Super Air Nozzles directed at the shaft and towards the machine, they were able to blow all the oil off and back in the machine as the shaft was extracted. This eliminated all drag out and interference with their vision systems.
