Blowing Out Dust from Inside Plastic Fuel Tanks
A customer manufactures fuel tanks for the automotive industry. Because the tanks are a plastic material, static charge is built up along the inside surfaces of the tank, and dust/debris collects on this surface. A Model 8493 Ion Air Gun Kit will allow the operator to direct the ionized air stream inside the inlet hole to the tank and remove all dust from the inner surface. There will be another hole in the tank, to serve as a vent, to prevent pressure buildup inside the tank.
