Breaking Apple Slices Loose from a Belt With Airflow
A customer with an apple processing line was experiencing problems when transferring apple slices from one conveyor to another. The apples were sticking to the belt and wrapping around to the belt return and falling to the floor. This presented a lost product problem and a housekeeping issue. They installed a Model 110036SS 36" (914mm) Stainless Steel Super Air Knife to blow the apples completely off of one conveyor to the other. Lost product was eliminated and housekeeping time was reduced.
