Cabinet Cooler Keeps Machine Running

Customer manufactures slitters, rewinders, and other other moving web equipment. They are building a machine for their customer, and want to incorporate a cabinet cooler to keep the machine control panel operating at a safe temperature. As this is a new installation, including the cooler with the machine is a preventative measure. The control equipment is powered by 24VDC, and the enclosure is rated Nema 12. Based on this and the expected heat load, a Model 4340-24VDC Cabinet Cooler System would work best for this enclosure. The kit will provide all of the components necessary to operate the cooler. It includes the cooling unit itself, cold air distribution hose kit, automatic drain filter separator to remove water and dirt from the compressed air line and prevent it from entering the enclosure, thermostat preset at 95°F to prevent over-cooling and excess air consumption, and a 24VDC solenoid valve to activate the cooler based on the signal from the thermostat. If the control equipment is maintained at a safe operating temperature, then this will prevent heat-related shutdowns of the machine and allow the web to move continuously with little if any, downtime or re-feeds and restarts.
