Cable Cleaning

Company manufactures wire rope lubrication / cleaning equipment. The cables in an oil rig pull with it drag out from the well and spew it out over the top of the derrick. This oil laden muck falls to the platform below creating a slippery mess. Using two Model 2402 2" (51mm) Super Air Wipes opposing one another and mounted one on each end of a pipe they were able to remove the sludge from the cable and atomize it inside the pipe. Then with an Air Amplifier mounted through the wall of the pipe, the spray mist is vacuumed out and down through a hose into a collection tank. Containing the drag out they eliminated a safety hazard. The operators were most appreciative because they did not get rained on with muck.
