Cleaning Cylinder Rods
Customer processes crushed limestone. The equipment uses large air cylinders. Limestone dust collects on the shafts. This is causing scoring on the rod surfaces and causes the seals to leak. Installing a Model 2409 9" (229mm) Super Air Wipe to blow the contaminants off the cylinder rod, scoring was eliminated and the lifespan of the cylinder increased five fold.
