Cleaning Grease Tips

When assembling a large piece of equipment, grease is applied to a journal prior to assembling a drive shaft. This is an automated process and the problem they were having was an accumulation of grease on the tip of the dispenser. When blob accumulates, it falls off onto the equipment. This contaminates the surface and causes paint failures. Using a Model 6079 1/2" (13mm) Line Vac any accumulated grease was vacuumed from the dispensing nozzle into a trash bucket. This eliminated a manual wipe off that was inconsistent depending of whether or not the operator remembered to do it.
