Cold Gun Rapidly Cools Heat Sensor Between Test Cycles
This customer builds electrical/electronic test equipment. One of their products contains a heater that they must test to insure that it achieves the required temperature. The heat sensor that they use to measure the temperature must cool down between tests, which slows production. The cold flow of air produced by the Model 5215 Cold Gun Aircoolant System rapidly cools the heat sensor down so the next test could be started quickly. This enabled them to test 25% more units per hour.
