Controlling Sugar Dispensing and Packaging
Company packages sugar in plastic bags. They are packaging brown sugar which tends to be sticky and does not flow very well. Occasionally they get a non-fill and an empty bag is sent down the conveyor along with good product. Mounting the Model 2024 24" (610mm) Standard Air Knife off to the side of the conveyor, blowing air against the product as it passes by, the full bags are unaffected. The empty bags though were blown off into a catch chute, preventing empty bags from being packed along with good product.
