Conveying Calcium Carbonate Pellets
A contractor testing facility for the aviation industry is developing a collect and reuse system for Calcium Carbonate pellets. The CACO3 pellets are used as a simulant in a testing process. Some pellets are scattered during testing. They need to be collected and routed back into the hopper to be used on a subsequent test, to minimize material that is wasted. A Model 6081 1" (25mm) Aluminum Line Vac with some anti-static tubing picks up the material and carries it back to the hopper for reuse.
