Conveying Plastic Pellets

Company designs, manufactures, markets and supports one of the most comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. They need to move plastic regrind from a blender into an extrusion press. The method that they had been using was for a towmotor operator to raise a person and a cargotainer up to the extrusion press feed port. The operator then would shovel out the material. Needless to say this was not safe and required the time of two employees. Installing a Model 6082 1 1/4" (32mm) Line Vac at the blender, they vacuum conveyed the material into the extrusion press eliminating two operators and a towmotor.
