Customer designs and manufactures heating elements for glass top cook stoves. They insert a heat sensor rod into a RF field to heat it up to calibrate it. After they take the sensor out of RF field they need to cool it down before packaging.
The cooling cycle was so long that they had to stage them on a table before boxing them up. Using the Model 3215 Vortex Tube they were able to cool the sensor and pack it before the next sensor had completed its test. This provided them with a continuos process and eliminated the staging table.
Flexible Dual Point Hose Kit, recommended when heat is generated over a larger surface area. Dual Point Hose Kits include cone and flat fan nozzles for aiming the cold air flow and are approximately 6" long. Learn More
EXAIR's Vortex Tubes offer a low cost, reliable, maintenance free solution to a variety of industrial spot cooling problems. Using an ordinary supply of compressed air as a power source, vortex tubes create two streams of air, one hot and one cold, with no moving parts. They are constructed of wear resistant stainless steel, which is ideal for corrosive and hygienic environments. Learn More
