Cooling Calibrated Heat Sensor
Customer designs and manufactures heating elements for glass top cook stoves. They insert a heat sensor rod into a RF field to heat it up to calibrate it. After they take the sensor out of RF field they need to cool it down before packaging.
The cooling cycle was so long that they had to stage them on a table before boxing them up. Using the Model 3215 Vortex Tube they were able to cool the sensor and pack it before the next sensor had completed its test. This provided them with a continuos process and eliminated the staging table.
