Cooling Electrical Enclosure
The customer disposes of chemical weapons that are stored at their facility. The disposal process consists of incinerating the various nerve agents (GB, VX gas or HD blister agent). part of the incineration process involves monitoring the exhaust gases by way of electronics mounted to the outside of the exhaust stack. Being located outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight causes the electronics inside to overheat which sends alarms to the operators that something has failed in the monitoring equipment. This is a huge problem given the nature of what they are incinerating at the facility. After sizing the enclosure for proper cooling, a Model HT4830SS Cabinet Cooler System was recommended. Since installation, the customer has had no failures of the monitoring system due to the previous overheating problem.
