Cooling Machined PEEK

Customer is an industrial supplier whose customer machines parts out of PEEK plastic. They were looking for a product to both remove machining chips as well as cool the cutting tool to prevent heat releated warpage and damage to the PEEK material. A Model 5315 Cold Gun with Dual Point Hose Kit will satisfy both requirements. One arm of the hose kit can be used to provide cooling directly to the bit, and the other can be aimed directly at the point of cut, to fully remove all of the chips off the part. This will significantly reduce the amount of rejected parts due to heat-related damage.
