Cooling Thermo- Seal Dies

Company manufactures light bulbs. After they install the filaments, they heat the base of the bulb and press it closed with a set of dies. To speed the process up, they need to cool the dies. This customer machined a cooling jacket within the dies and fed cold air from the Model 3225 Vortex Tube through it, cooling them down and speeding up the process. They were able to reduce the time to cool the base by 3 seconds resulting in a 5% increase in production.
