Cooling Welded Steel Exhaust Tubing
This customer manufactures aluminum coated steel tubing to be used in automotive exhaust systems. The diameters range from 1.5" to 3". The various tube sections are welded together to create different shaped exhaust pipes. A Model 2404 4" (102mm) Super Air Wipe will be able to sufficiently cool the welds on the entire product size range, and prevent warpage caused by the welding heating up the surrounding material. This will lead to fewer rejected tubes, due to being misshapen.
