Cutter Blade Cooling

Customer manufactures pool liners. To secure pool linings, notched aluminum strips are used. To manufacture these notched strips, roll stock is fed through a progressive punch die. To cool the punches they had been using mist coolant which required the strip to be cleaned afterwards. Eliminating the mist coolant with a Model 5330 Cold Gun Aircoolant System, they were able to cool the punches and eliminate mist coolant and a wash operation.
