Drying Saw Blades

Customer makes band saw blades. Strip stock is normalized, saw teeth are cut in and set then flame hardened and quenched. It then goes through a wash, cut to length and welded. They were using a ring blower to dry the strip but it was not effective. Water was being left and interfered with the welding operation. Substituting the blower with two Model 1103 Mini Super Nozzles they were able to effectively dry the strip and eliminated their welding problems.
