E-Vac Prevents Skunked Beer At The Keg Tap
After filling kegs with beer, there is a small amount of liquid that becomes trapped outside of the pressurized area, which becomes "skunked" (release of a sulfur compound when the hops in the beer is exposed to light.) Our customer made a keg filling machine, and wanted to add a device to remove as much of the excess beer as possible. They installed a Model 800002 Low Vacuum In-Line E-Vac to suction up the excess beer and port it to a drain.
