Ejecting Defective Parts From a High Speed Conveyor
This customer was using a manual diverter to eject defective 2x4’s moving on a high speed conveyor. This method was not suitable for the conveyor’s speed, and as such, slowed the conveyance speed down to an unacceptable level. They installed a Model 1106 Super Air Nozzle, actuated by a high speed solenoid valve, which successfully ejected the defective pieces without slowing down the conveyor.
