Eliminating Static From Packing Foam

A minting company is manufacturing first edition state quarters and packages them with a robot into a foam holder and then inserts the foam into a plastic bag to be sealed. Cleanliness of the operation is of the utmost importance as the coins are never handled directly. Customer was having problems inserting the foam into the bag. They decided to use Model 8006 6" and Model 8012 12" (305mm) Ion Bars to knock the static down on the foam enough to get the process to run.
